SUMMARY:
In Veteran voices, students explore personal perspectives on the First World War using recorded extracts of the oral histories of local servicemen and their families from the Hurstville City Library Museum & Gallery collection. Students discuss the use and reliability of oral histories as primary sources and learn about the methods and processes of conducting an oral history interview. Soldier profile worksheets included.
