SUMMARY:
Training day is an active, outdoor program focussed on the experience of Australian soldiers in training camps and in Egypt. Students use primary sources to discuss the reasons soldiers enlisted for service and their experiences in preparing for war. Students participate in a simulation training camp, which provides a first-hand understanding of the soldiers’ experience.
