CREATE AN ANZAC EXHIBITION

Community exhibitions are a good way of learning about and commemorating the Anzacs and all those who contributed to the war effort. Exhibitions can incorporate images, objects, documents and personal memories.

Does anyone in your family have items or stories of the First World War that have been passed down?

The best exhibitions tell a story, or are guided by a significant theme. Themes could include:

  • local war memorials

  • the soldier's experience

  • the home front experience

  • Personal memories

  • Conflict on a particular front

How would you theme your own exhibtion?
