BOOKING INFORMATION

• Minimum 2 weeks’ notice is required for bookings

 

• Schools are to select their preferred modules to tailor-make an Anzac Education program that best suits their needs.

 

• Schools can select up to three 30-minute modules or one 90-minute module, for a 1½ – 2 hour program session. Additional modules or extended session times may be negotiated depending on circumstances. Please contact Hurstville Museum & Gallery to discuss your requirements.

 

• The maximum number of participants for 30-minute modules is 25 students per module. Larger groups can be broken up to rotate through modules concurrently. For example, the maximum number of participants per 1½ – 2 hour program is 75 students, i.e. three modules with 25 students.

 

• The maximum number of participants for 90-minute modules, i.e. oral history workshops, is 40 students.

 

• Schools may book multiple session times to accommodate larger groups or to include additional modules. Morning and afternoon sessions, or sessions over consecutive days are recommended. Special booking options can be discussed with Hurstville Museum & Gallery.

 

• Anzac programs may be run as an excursion to Hurstville Museum & Gallery or an incursion at your school. Excursions to the Museum & Gallery are recommended to experience the full range of program resources.

 

• Hurstville Library Museum & Gallery Anzac Education programs are free of charge for the first 10 schools who book in. Subsequent bookings will be charged at the rate of $5.00 per student, per session (minimum charge $50.00 per session).
